New Studio Jingdezhen China
Carola is proud to present her new studio in Jingdezhen, China. She has found a great place in a former school building inside "The Sculpture Factory".

The main industry here is in porcelain and ceramics. This is one of the many reasons that I opened up my own studio here. It gives me the ultimate possibility to work together with many skilled craftsmen to create new products and work on special projects."

The Sculpture Factory is one of the many areas in Jingdezhen where porcelain production is done. It is not really a factory but an area with many small buildings and one main road leading through it, from the front gate to the back gate. Throughout the city you can find many of those "factory" areas where they all have a specialization; big pot factory, slip-casting factory, etc.
